The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported Saturday that, according to the Hawaii Government Employees Association, agreement includes pay increases totaling 13.53 percent over the next four years.
It covers about 900 public employees in the union’s Unit 6 who still have to ratify the agreement, which would go into effect July 1. Ratification meetings were slated Friday and Saturday. If the tentative agreement isn’t ratified,the unit will proceed to an arbitration already scheduled for June, the Oahu newspaper reported.
